We use it ourselves

We don't just sell Elective Genius — we run our own school on it.

Every middle– and high–school student at Rosedale Christian Academy is on the full catalog, with Meri tutoring every lesson — grades 6–12, all in.

Stop filling gaps. Start building an advantage.

Most schools add electives reactively — scrambling to find teachers for subjects students want. ElectiveGenius lets you offer a complete Career Pathway program that becomes a reason families choose your school.

Without ElectiveGenius
  • 3-4 elective options, limited by who you can hire
  • Students take whatever is available, not what excites them
  • Transcripts look generic — no career direction
  • Parents ask why your school doesn't offer more
  • One teacher leaves and an entire elective disappears
  • No way to personalize learning paths per student
With ElectiveGenius
  • 55 courses available instantly — no hiring required
  • Students choose a Career Pathway aligned with their interests
  • Transcripts tell a story — admissions officers notice direction
  • Parents see your school offering something no one else in the area can
  • Courses never depend on a single teacher's availability
  • Every student gets a personal AI tutor who adapts to their pace
  • Your supervising teachers get FacultyGenius PD included — conversational CEU development + AI instructional coaching for the educators running your program

6 Career Pathways. 31 high-school + 24 middle-school courses. One platform.

Each pathway is a curated sequence of 6 courses that builds toward a career direction. Students graduate with a portfolio, a transcript that tells a story, and real skills.

The Engagement Problem, Solved

Meri doesn't let students coast.

Every lesson is a guided conversation with Meri, our AI tutor. She asks questions, pushes for deeper thinking, and won't let students advance until they've genuinely engaged. It's not a video they can play at 2x. It's not a textbook they can skim. Students have to think.

  • Asks probing, critical-thinking questions at every checkpoint
  • Adapts to each student's pace and understanding level
  • Won't unlock the next section until real engagement is shown
  • Pushes back on one-word answers — warmly, but firmly
  • Every conversation is visible to supervisors and parents
  • No student falls through the cracks — Meri notices everyone
MMeri · Understanding Check
MMeri
You just read about compound interest. Here's my question: if you started investing $50/month at age 16 vs. age 26, how much difference do you think that makes by retirement? Take a real guess.
idk maybe like double?
MMeri
Good instinct, but one word won't cut it here! The actual difference is closer to 3x. Why do you think those 10 early years matter so much? Think about what compound interest actually does over time.
Oh because the interest earns interest too? So the earlier money has way more time to multiply. That's why starting at 16 is so much better than 26 even though it's the same monthly amount.
MMeri
Now you're thinking like an investor! That's exactly it — time is the multiplier. This is why we're learning this at 16 and not 36. 💪

Questions administrators ask

Are these courses accredited?

Each course is Carnegie Unit compliant (60+ hours for 0.5 credit) with standards-aligned syllabi, assessments, and rubrics. Credit acceptance is at your institution's discretion. We provide all documentation needed.

What if students just type random answers to get through?

Meri evaluates response quality, not just length. One-word or low-effort answers won't unlock the next section. She pushes back and asks for more depth. And every conversation is visible in your supervisor dashboard.

Can we integrate with our existing SIS or LMS?

Grade book data exports via CSV for import into any SIS. LTI integration for Google Classroom, Canvas, and Schoology is on our roadmap. Talk to us about your specific needs.

What subjects are available?

55 courses: 31 high-school electives across Healthcare, Business & Finance, Technology, Law & Society, Creative & Communication, and Life & Career Readiness — Personal Finance, Psychology, Entrepreneurship, AI, Creative Writing, and more — plus 24 new middle-school explorer courses for grades 6–8.

How much teacher involvement is needed?

Minimal. Meri handles instruction and engagement. Your supervisor reviews portfolio assignments, monitors pacing alerts, and manages grades. Most supervisors spend 2-3 hours per week overseeing 25+ students.

Can we start with a small group first?

Yes. Start with a small cohort on one or two pathways, see the results, then scale. Your first 14 days are free, so you can try it with real students before you're charged. The standard minimum is 10 students — but if you're a smaller school or co-op, email schools@electivegenius.com and we'll set you up directly.

What if a student gets stuck or needs help?

Meri adapts in real time. If a student shows confusion, she tries a different explanation angle or analogy. Pacing alerts notify you if a student falls behind. There's also a skip option for accessibility.

Can parents see their student's progress?

Yes. Parents can link to their student's account and view enrollments, progress, quiz scores, and a full transcript from the parent dashboard.

Heads of School are reaching out

Christian school leaders want this in their building.

Unprompted notes from heads of school after hearing Elective Genius on the Christian School Principals Podcast.

I was completely blown away by what I heard. I thought you had been in my head and our admin meetings listening to what we needed. It would be an honor to consider what we could do with Elective Genius.

Head of School · Christian school, Southern California
While we offer a handful of electives, I’ve felt this has been a HUGE gap we haven’t been able to fill. Elective Genius would be perfect for us — are there any spots for pilot schools still?
